Camp

Camp is CONFIRMED for week commencing SATURDAY 23RD JULY 2011
There are: until Camp
Time marches on so fast these days, and before we know it we will be Christmas again. Before that happens though, the highlight of the summer for the Company must come first. I refer of course to Camp!

Where are we going?

We are returning again to the Isle of Wight, leaving on Saturday 23rd July 2011 and returning on Saturday 30th July. This year we have also secured the larger site 2, which has its own games field and fabulous views across the Solent.

How much will it cost?

This year we have set the fee at £150* per boy.
Due to rises in transportation costs and field hire, we have to, regrettably, put the cost up from last year, which had remained the same for the last two years. Put into context though, it works out at just over £22 per day, which for five meals a day, transportation costs, camping hire and as much fun as they can handle still works out at very good value indeed.
*To be confirmed.

What do i need to take with me?

Full details, kit lists and parental consent forms will be given out nearer the time for those lads attending, as well as the date of parent camp meeting.

How do i sign up for camp?

If you wish your son to attend, please complete and return the Camp form along with a £20 deposit.

The balance must be paid in full 3 weeks before camp. An ideal way to accumulate the cost is by paying instalments of £10 per week.

Can i go to Camp if i have just come up from Junior Section?

For the lads who are joining us from the Junior Section, and may be apprehensive about coming, I can say that many, many lads of their age have attended camp and all of them have enjoyed it. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to speak to me, either in person on a Monday night, or by e-mail if you prefer.
