Junior Section

Who is it for?

Junior Section is for boys aged between 8 and 11 years.

When do they meet?

The main weekly meeting is on aMonday evening, starting at 6:15 p.m.

What do they do?
Junior Section members continue to work through the BB badge scheme started in Anchor Boys, although members can join at any time so do not have to have been in the Anchor Boys. Junior Sections participate in more advanced games and other fun activities including crafts, music, games, and sports. They are also gently introduced to spiritual concepts and the work of the Church that the organisation is based within, although in a very relaxed and informal manner.

The Junior Section organises various education and recreational trips for members, and all activities are fully supervised and within a safe and friendly environment. The aim is to help boys to develop their skills and personalities, making new friends along the way, in preparation for their important secondary school years.

What else do I need to know?
Junior Section members have a special uniform that they can wear. As everyone wears the same thing they feel as though they belong. However nobody need feel excluded because they do not have the right clothes.
